Jack Chiu
Clinical Psychologist
Jack is a Clinical Psychologist with experience across not-for-profit, university, community mental health and private practice settings. He has worked with people across the lifespan, but has particular experience supporting young people presenting with neurodivergence, emotional difficulties, trauma and complex learning and behavioural needs. He approaches his work in a friendly, curious and collaborative way.
Jack has an interest in ADHD, learning differences, cognitive profiles and in helping clients understand their strengths and challenges. He has seen how assessments that are both clinically thorough and humanly relatable can help people to better understand themselves and flourish. This process also sheds light on how families, schools and workplaces can learn how to be there for the people they care for.
Jack is also an experienced therapist and has spent most of a decade sharing the journeys of clients from all walks of life. In addition to his clinical work, Jack has held supervisory roles, presented at conferences and worked across innovative nature-based therapy programs. Outside of psychology, Jack is a freelance musician and enjoys the outdoors.
