Dr Cara Wong 

MClinNeuro, PhD, MAPS

Founder, Director and Clinical Neuropsychologist

Cara is a Clinical Neuropsychologist with over a decade of clinical experience in private practice and public sector as a Clinical Neuropsychologist working with clients across the lifespan. She founded the Wholistic Brain and Mind in 2019 after moving to the Northern Rivers region, and MINDS multidisciplinary service in 2025.

 

Cara is passionate about using neuropsychology assessments in a more wholistic way to empower people to understand more about their brain, the power of neuroplasticity, and the link between brain, mind and body. She is committed to using a therapeutic assessment framework and neuro-affirming practices, ensuring a safe, warm and inclusive environment for all clients. Prior to her clinical work Cara worked as a research psychologist in the fields of health/cognitive psychology and rehabilitation, and completed a PhD in brain stimulation (rTMS and tDCS).

​​In her spare time, Cara loves traveling, yoga, music, playing guitar, dancing, spending time in nature, food, and being the mother to two fun and energetic kids!
